I’m Sarah Hunter and I serve as Discipling Environments Catalyst in the Western Canadian District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. I am passionate about resourcing, equipping, and encouraging leaders in making Spirit empowered disciples who multiply on mission for Jesus.

Along with my husband Andy, and our two teenagers, Drew and Haley, we feel most alive when we are journeying with others. Whether it be family dinner night, or board games with friends, we enjoy making disciples through the relationships of our “extended family” in the rhythms of everyday life.

Raised as the daughter of a military pilot, I spent my early life moving around Canada and the U.K. It is within this context that I learned the importance of belonging and creating spaces for others to belong.

I enjoy a day in my yard, and I love to cook. Experimenting with foods from other cultures is a passion. I’ve recently discovered how satisfying it is to fix broken things and am venturing into the world of refinishing old furniture.

I have a B.Eng (Mechanical) from Lakehead University, Thunder Bay, Ontario. I earned a M.A. in Leadership and Ministry from Ambrose University, Calgary, Alberta. I am a licensed worker with the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
